Gmail Integration: Sending Founder Emails from Your Google Account

Gmail + PostSignup

Gmail is the most popular email choice for startups. Here's how to connect it.

What You Need

  • A Gmail or Google Workspace account
  • Admin access (for Workspace accounts)

Connection Steps

  • Click "Connect Gmail" in PostSignup
  • Sign in to your Google account
  • Review permissions (send only - we never read your inbox)
  • Authorize the connection

That's it. Takes about 30 seconds.

What Permissions We Request

gmail.send - Allows sending emails only

We do NOT request:

  • gmail.read (inbox access)
  • gmail.modify (changing emails)
  • contacts.read (contact access)

Deliverability Benefits

Emails sent through Gmail have:

  • Full SPF/DKIM/DMARC authentication
  • Google's sending reputation
  • Native threading in recipients' inboxes

Managing the Connection

Revoking Access

Go to Google Account > Security > Third-party apps > PostSignup > Remove
